Bhutan

Bhutan is a country in South Asia

Bhutan, a Buddhist nation at the eastern border of the Himalayas, is well-known for its monasteries, forts, or dzongs, as well as for its stunning landscapes, which range from subtropical plains to craggy highlands and valleys. Peaks like the 7,326-meter Jomolhari in the High Himalayas are well-liked trekking locations. The Tiger's Nest monastery, also known as Paro Taktsang, is perched above cliffs above the Paro Valley's dense forest.

National Flag of Bhutan

Bhutan is known as the "Land of the Thunder Dragon" in its native tongue because of its long-standing belief that the thunder in its many mountains and valleys is the voice of dragons. The dragon motif on the flag, however, might have drawn inspiration from long-used patterns by the Chinese in the neighbouring country. The dragon on the flag holds gems in its claws as a symbol of national prosperity and perfection. The dragon, which was once green but is now white, stands for purity and the allegiance of the nation's many ethnic groups.

The king's authority as head of the secular government is symbolised by the colour yellow-orange, which the Bhutanese government officially refers to as yellow, while the colour orange-red is connected to the Bka'-brgyud-pa (Kagyupa) and Rnying-ma-pa (Nyingmapa) Buddhist sects and the country's commitment to religion.
