112th National Day Celebration and Election of Association of Bhutanese In Perth Incorporated(ABPI))

Tandin Lhamo
The small community of Bhutanese Living in Perth is celebrating the 112th National Day of Bhutan. On this auspicious day, the Association of Bhutanese in Perth Incorporated (ABPI) is organizing the Election election of an executive member for the Year 2020 (21st December 2020).

I came forward to contest in 2020 ABPI executives Election for the post of Event Coordinator to serve Bhutanese Community living away from home and youths in particular by creating platforms focussing more on youth participation. I also came forward to inspire more women participation in such elections in the future and above all to pay my tribute to the Tsa-Wa-Sum in whatever little ways I can if given the opportunity. Each and every individual’s participation is important in raising your voice to choose the right person for promoting an active, transparent and accountable Association for Community Vitality. Therefore, PLEASE UPDATE YOUR MEMBERSHIP AND BE PART OF THE ELECTION AND THE ASSOCIATION! With this, I would like to wish a very Happy National Day Celebrations to all the Bhutanese living in Perth.
THANK YOU AND TASHI DELEK

All the four         reincarnations became Jekhenpo except fifth and current sixth one. Choeje Tulku Rinpoche was born on 28/10/1983 in a remote region of Goen Amorima in Punakha Bhutan on an auspicious day, corresponding to the day of descent of the Buddha Shakyamuni from the heavenly realms. His birth was marked with numerous miraculous signs such as sacred water turning into milk, a pavilion of rainbow light appearing in the sky. His parent’s lineage can be traced back to the noble clan who carried the great Jowo Shakyamuni statue from China to Tibet as a dowry to the then King of Tibet, Songtsengampo when he married the chinese Princess Wencheng, popularly known as “Gyasa” or the “chinese wife”.
