National Day of Bhutan is on 17th December of every year.

KINGS OF BHUTAN
Nearly 200 Bhutanese people gathered in a community hall at Macedonian cultural Centre llinden, Calcutta WA 6021 on Saturday 21th of December 2019 to celebrate National Day of Bhutan and election of Executive member for ABPI 2020.
Normally we celebrate our National day on 17th of December of every year in our country, Bhutan but for Bhutanese living in Perth has to arrange the convenient day due to the tight time schedule for Studies and work. Even then many Bhutanese could not make it to the day only 200 people came to celebrate the day and sources say that there are more than 5000 Bhutanese are living here in Perth for various reasons.

On this day the people who came to mark the day we're happy and proud to celebrate our 112 National Day of Bhutan and 50 Years since the first Bhutanese who came to Western Australia. The day was accompanied by Senator Dean Smith as a chief Guest and some remarkable speech were given the Sanitor and he quoted;
 “ for the Bhutanese community here, I am your servant, you can call me servant number one, my job is to serve you, my job as a senator is to be the servant for every Western Australia, but in my heart the Bhutanese community is very very high up on my list of priorities and I can do anything, I can support you, no matter how small or big you are, I can do that because, in my way It honors you, it honors you are experiencing WA and it honors the king. Thank you very very much, it wouldn’t matter if there are 5 people here or 500 people when the Bhutanese community extends to the invitation, I am delighted to be here”
It is with utmost respect and submission that we all Bhutanese in Perth make our day to celebrate 112 National days of Bhutan even in a very difficult situation and be a part of Bhutanese living in Perth.

With best regards
